We are seeking a compassionate and experienced night Senior Care Assistants to join our dedicated team within our newly registered care home. Duties

Assist residents with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication management in accordance with care plans Supervise and support junior staff members, fostering a positive team environment and ensuring high standards of care are maintained Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans tailored to each resident's needs Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals promptly Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, adhering to legal and organisational standards Promote independence and dignity among residents through respectful communication and personalised support Organise activities that encourage social interaction and mental stimulation for residents Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home environment

Experience

Proven experience working in senior care or within a care home setting, with supervisory or leadership responsibilities preferred Strong understanding of senior care principles, including dementia care Experience in developing and managing care plans effectively Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising confidently with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding care Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes Experience in medication administration
