Colville Care Ltd is a long established provider of quality Residential and Nursing Care. We are looking to recruit a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Kite Hill Care Home in Wootton Bridge, Isle of Wight. Full time 36 hours the position will require you to work 3 nights a week. Shifts available are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 8pm to 8am.

The role is suitable for individuals with a minimum of 2 years experience of working in a Care setting either Nursing, residential or community. The successful applicant will have achieved a minimum of level 2 diploma / NVQ in health and Social Care. You will have experience of mentoring new staff and experience of the administration of medication. You will be able to demonstrate good communication skills, written and verbal, and be computer literate.

You will be in charge of the Home over night and will need to be confident in your ability to respond to changes in the wellbeing of our residents.. You will complete medication rounds and also take and record vital observations. You will participate in assessing the needs of our residents and reviewing care plans. You will be confident and capable of working independently.
