14.25 per hour

Hours:

Full Time - 42 hrs per week - 7pm to 7am - 3 nights one week, 4 nights following week

in a care environment, with experience within a Senior/Team Leader position.

Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care

(or equivalent).

About Inwood House:

Step into the welcoming world of Inwood House! Nestled amidst the serene landscapes of Horbury, just a stone's throw from Wakefield, Inwood House presents an idyllic setting for residential care. At Inwood House, we cater to up to 50 residents, providing a warm, family-like atmosphere where currently 31 individuals call home. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalised care, with a focus on dementia and residential support. We also offer short-term respite and rehabilitation services, ensuring a comprehensive care experience.

The home boasts several communal lounges, a charming on-site cafe, a professional hairdressing salon, a spacious dining room, and a sun-drenched room. These spaces are designed for relaxation and enjoyment, overlooking the splendid views of our gardens. Inwood House is a hive of activity - we offer an array of social opportunities, from engaging craft sessions to karaoke, arts, bingo, and our popular "knit & natter" gatherings, not to mention "fish and chip Fridays"!

About the role:

As a Senior Night Care Assistant, you'll be part of a dedicated team providing quality care and support - this pivotal role involves:

Overseeing the overall night shift as the most senior person on duty during night hours. Assisting residents throughout the night, including personal care, and medication. Offering support and companionship during night hours. Completing night checks to ensure of comfort and wellbeing. Undertake cleaning & laundry duties throughout the home.
