Job Summary

Maesglas is a 26 bed Care Home situated in the village of Holt, Wrexham. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistants to join our night team. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to elderly individuals, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality care while promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities

Lead and support the night care team to deliver person centered care. Administer medication and ensure accurate record keeping. Update care plans as necessary using electronic systems (Log My Care). Respond to resident's needs with empathy and professionalism. Conduct nightly checks and maintain a safe secure environment. Liaise and communicate clearly with families, healthcare professionals, management and day staff to ensure continuity of care. Support new staff and help with training and development.

What we require from you:

Minimum of NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Adults) (or working towards) Previous experience in a Senior Care role or similar. Confident in administering medication and leading a small team. A warm , caring attitude with excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure. Right to work in the UK
