Responsibilities
Supervise and support junior care staff, ensuring adherence to care standards and protocols.
Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and meal preparation.
Develop, implement, and review individual care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.
Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress using IT systems.
Drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
Foster a supportive environment that encourages social interaction among residents.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a senior care or supervisory role within a care home setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents and colleagues.
Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and documentation related to resident care.
A genuine passion for providing high-quality senior care and enhancing the lives of elderly individuals.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting residents as needed.
