Kingfisher House Care Home in Perth is a brand-new, purpose-built home offering Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care. We are now looking for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our care team. Whether you are seeking day or night shifts, full-time or part-time hours, this is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our home.
What We Offer
14.50 per hour
Day and night shifts available
Full-time or part-time contracts, up to 38.5 hours per week

What You Will Do
As a Senior Care Assistant at Kingfisher House, you will lead by example, guiding your colleagues to deliver safe, person-centred care at all times. You will play an active part in supporting residents with their daily routines, personal care, meals, and mobility, while ensuring that dignity, independence, and wellbeing are always prioritised. You will be responsible for administering and recording medication accurately, maintaining care plans and records, and promoting effective communication with residents, families, and professionals. Your leadership will help to create a positive, supportive environment for your team, where everyone works together to achieve the highest standards of care.
What We're Looking For
Minimum SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (essential)
Ideally holds or is working towards SVQ Level 3
Competency in medication administration
Experience in leading or supervising a care team
Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
A compassionate and caring approach, with a genuine passion for person-centred care
