Job description

The Anchorage Care Home in Pulborough, West Sussex are looking for a Full Time Senior Healthcare Assistant for day shifts to join our team and provide quality care to our residents.

Duties include:

Running a shift and being in charge of care assistants on shift. Provide personal care and support to elderly individuals in a compassionate and respectful manner Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Administer medications according to prescribed schedules. Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature Assist with mobility and transfers, using correct lifting techniques and assistive devices Engage in meaningful conversations and provide companionship to promote emotional well-being Communicate effectively with residents, their families, other staff members and healthcare professionals
Requirements:

Ideally you will have or be working towards an Adult Health & Social Care NVQ Level 3 or have NVQ Level 2 with the aspiration to further your career.
