Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team in Rottingdean. This vital role involves supporting our residents' well-being and ensuring high-quality care in line with our values. The position will be primarily for night shifts, with some daytime weekend shifts also required, and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and support to residents. Assist in developing and implementing individual care plans. Supervise and support junior staff, fostering a positive team environment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate documentation of care activities. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members. Support residents' daily activities and promote their independence. Contribute to a warm and respectful community atmosphere.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in senior or elder care within a care home setting. Strong leadership and supervising skills. Excellent communication abilities. Knowledge of care planning processes. Valid driving license is desirable but not essential. Compassionate nature with a commitment to high standards of care. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
