Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality personal care to residents, respecting their dignity and independence
Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and medication management
Supervise and support junior staff members, fostering a positive team environment
Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery
Support residents' emotional well-being through companionship and engaging activities
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
Qualifications
Previous experience working within a care home or senior care setting is essential
Supervising experience or leadership skills are highly desirable
Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transport needs if required
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
Knowledge of care plans, health & safety procedures, and regulatory standards in eldercare
Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for older adults
