As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead a team in delivering high-quality care services to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support residents with daily activities including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members to ensure holistic care
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior care assistants
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' health status and progress
- Foster a warm and supportive environment for residents, promoting their independence and dignity
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with seniors, families, and colleagues
- Proficiency in supervising and coordinating care activities within a senior care setting
- Strong understanding of senior care principles, including developing care plans and administering medication
- Ability to drive initiatives for continuous improvement in care services
- Demonstrated leadership qualities to guide a team of care assistants
- Basic IT skills for maintaining digital records in compliance with regulations
