: 13.60 per hour

Hours

: 7am till 7pm - Full-Time, Permanent (Day Shifts)

Includes weekends and public holidays on a rota basis

About the Role



As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a key leadership role in the day-to-day care of residents, supporting both their health and emotional wellbeing. You'll work closely with the care team and nursing staff to ensure every resident receives safe, dignified, and personalised care.

Your Responsibilities



Lead and support a team of Care Assistants during your shift Deliver high-quality, hands-on personal care and support to residents Administer or support the administration of medication (following training and policy) Maintain accurate care plans and documentation Monitor residents' wellbeing and report changes promptly Mentor and support new or junior staff Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Help ensure a clean, safe, and positive living environment

What We're Looking For



At least 1 year of experience in a senior or team-leading care role (essential) Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills Compassionate, calm, and respectful approach to care NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred) or willingness to work toward it Confident working with older adults and residents with dementia Reliable, flexible, and committed to supporting a team-based environment
