Job Description

We are looking for a senior carer to join our growing team in an EMI residential care home.

Our mission is to make Homestead feel like home from home for all of our residents and to provide a high standard of person centred care.

The position includes:

Day to day leading care shifts, allocating work accordingly to care assistants

Administration of medication

Formulating and updating care plans

Basic observations such as; blood pressure, temperature, pulse readings.

All aspects of personal care

Shifts are allocated on a rota basis. Shift times include 7am - 1pm, 1pm - 7pm, 7am - 7pm.

Flexibility is essential for this role. The position is for days but on occasion you may be required to cover night shifts to cover sickness or holidays.

To apply for this position it will be required for you to hold or be working towards a level 3 qualification in health and social care and ideally hold a level 2 administration in medication qualification.
