Job Summary

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in a care home setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting with, implementing care plans, and ensuring the well-being of each individual. You will work closely with other staff members to promote a safe environment for our residents and leading the team.

Duties

Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and personal care. Medication management. Implement and monitor care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Supervise care staff and provide guidance as needed to maintain high standards of care. Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and any changes in their condition. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care strategies.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents and their families. Experience in senior care. Ability to develop and implement care plans that meet individual needs. Leadership qualities to supervise and mentor care staff members. Proficiency in IT systems for maintaining records and documentation. A compassionate approach to everyone, demonstrating patience and understanding. Capability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
