Job Description
Senior care assistant required for a small residential care home - 22.5 hours per week.
Candidate must be flexible with shift working over a 7 day week therefore you must be able work to work mornings, afternoons, evenings during weekdays AND weekends.
PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIPS
Shift patterns: Main shifts 2pm-10pm with occasional mornings (8.30am-2pm)
The role requires supporting residents who have dementia with all aspects of personal care e.g. washing, dressing, nutritional needs, continence needs, care planning and administering medication.
Other duties include:
Light food / drink preparation
Light Laundry
Daily record keeping
Candidate must be able to work as part of a team and have good leadership qualities. You will have excellent verbal & written communication skills and have an NVQ level 2 in health and social care or equivalent. Also safe handling of medication qualifications.
Experience essential.
Ideally have a current DBS.
