This is a senior, hands-on role where you will combine high-quality care delivery with leadership responsibilities. You will take a proactive role in monitoring residents` wellbeing, administering and supporting medication, and ensuring care plans are followed and reviewed. You will work closely with external professionals including social services, district nurses, and SALT teams to ensure residents receive coordinated, person-centred care.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will

, championing best practice and supporting the day-to-day running of the care team. You will carry out staff supervisions, mentor team members, and provide guidance to ensure consistent, high standards of care are always maintained.
What We`re Looking For
This role is ideal for an established Senior Care Assistant or an experienced Care Assistant ready to take the next step.
You will bring:
Proven experience working in a care setting, ideally in Extra Care, supported living, or residential care
Experience supporting or supervising staff and leading shifts
Strong knowledge of person-centred care, medication support, and care planning
Excellent communication skills and confidence working with multidisciplinary teams
A calm, patient, and compassionate approach with the ability to make informed decisions
You will be passionate about promoting independence, dignity, and respect, and confident in supporting both residents and colleagues.
