A Senior Care Assistant is required to join our team.

The personal support you will provide to every one of our residents, as a Senior Carer, is a challenging but also extremely rewarding. Helping individuals who sometimes are unable to fully support themselves.

The home is situated in a beautiful part of Brymbo with extensive gardens.

We have 42 residents residing at the home.

You will be the lead of a shift ensuring that all duties are carried out by the team on duty.

The hours are up to 30 each week initially.

So, how do you make this happen? You will;

Ensure the delivery of quality of care to all residents. Administer medicines as required in accordance with policies and procedures Promote high standards of care by ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and shifts run in a smooth and efficient manner Promote the Home in a professional manner, by becoming actively involved in raising awareness of the Home within the local community Mentor and coach other colleagues, providing support, and instruction of care activities, particularly in relation to the induction of new staff.
You will need to be able to attend to our residents needs and assist movement around the home as necessary.

Helping to maintain accurate records, undertaking ongoing training and getting involved in welcoming and training new staff, you will be an integral part of our team and the home.

Generally promoting our residents' independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care.
