Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise Care Assistants during shifts
Deliver high-quality personal care and support to residents
Administer and record medication in line with policies
Update and maintain accurate care plans and documentation
Support new staff and mentor junior team members
Communicate effectively with families, professionals, and managers
Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control standards
Report concerns and escalate issues promptly
Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing for all residents
Requirements
Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Care Assistant (minimum 1 year)
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
Confident in medication administration
Strong communication and leadership skills
Reliable, compassionate, and professional
Ability to work days/nights/weekends as required
Right to work in the UK
