We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being in various care settings. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health conditions, and foster a supportive environment for residents. Your experience and skills in patient care will be invaluable in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to the nursing staff Provide personal care and support for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and ensuring hygiene standards are met Assist with medication administration as per care plans and under supervision Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Support individuals with developmental disabilities through direct support and tailored care plans

Requirements

Previous experience in senior care, home health, or long-term care setting Familiarity with patient observation techniques and vital sign monitoring Experience working with individuals with disabilities Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
