Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Care Champion to join our dedicated team at Nether Place Nursing Home. This is a key role within the home, designed to work alongside our team of experienced nurses to ensure the highest standards of person-centred care are consistently delivered.

As a Senior Care Champion, you will:

Take a hands-on lead in the day-to-day delivery of care Support and mentor care staff, ensuring best practices are followed Work collaboratively with nurses and other professionals in care planning and reviews Be a visible, supportive presence for residents and their families Promote dignity, independence, and quality of life for all residents Monitor and improve care quality and contribute to continuous service improvements

Skills

Proven experience in senior care or within a care home environment is essential. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a team effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and colleagues. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is essential Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.
