The role:



You'll help and assist our residents, to fulfil their daily and long-term goals, creating positive outcomes in their lives. Working in a passionate way to provide excellent person-centred care to our residents, you'll ensure all our residents are happy and cared for in the best way possible.

What you'll be doing:



Ensure Registered Manager is kept up to date with day to day running of the home. To be flexible and responsive to meet the changing needs of the service and the people we support. Ensure residents are maintained to a high standard and report any requirements to the manager. Support people with decision making and positive lifestyle choices. Supporting people to participate in their community, by accessing local facilities and wider community resources. Keep abreast of local media, supporting residents to attend chosen activities. Work to implement our outcome focused Person Centred-Care Plans. Support the team to help residents develop and expand social networks and friendships. Assist residents through transitioning into and out of the service to further independence. Liaise with other agencies and advocates, confidently for client's if necessary and encourage them to do so for themselves. Work in partnership with care managers and other professionals to maximise quality of life, including G. P's and District Nurses. Administer and maintain medication. Carry out Basic Observations on residents and report to G.P an accurate report. Ensure the security of the building and the safety of the people living in the home. Record information about residents and ensure communication with Staff Members. Escalate all issues to the manager To take lead on shift, ensuring care staff have completed all tasks and entered information into electronic care plans. Checking rooms and ensuring a quality of care.
As a precondition of this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

A flexible approach to shifts, willingness to cover holiday and the occasional night shift. NVQ Level 3 (or higher)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.25-13.00 per hour
