SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Senior Day-Care Worker is responsible for the day to day running of Orchard Grove Day Care, including all professional and administrative duties, planning and completing daily activities, music events and festive/ summer parties .

They are responsible for the care/clinical matters in Day Care whilst ensuring that the Manager is kept informed at all times.

Essential to have:

'Experience in planning and implementing activities for service users.

At least 1 years' experience in completing care plans/risk assessments and attending reviews.

Full UK Driving Licence

At least 2 years' experience of working with vulnerable adults .

Desirable to have:

Experience in the administration of medication

Experience in recording and reporting accidents and incidents with appropriate bodies

The role is primarily based Monday to Friday, however you may be required to work flexibly on a rota basis to meet the needs of the service, this includes weekends and bank holidays.

Ensure work is recorded accurately and appropriately in compliance with the company requirements and that records made, and personal information used are in compliance with the Data Protection Act and the standards of information governance.
