As a Senior Care Worker with CrossReach, you will play a key role in leading and supporting a committed care team, delivering high-quality, person-centred care to older people. You will bring calm leadership, compassion and professionalism to every shift, ensuring care is provided with dignity, respect and consistency.

What Your Day Could Involve

Leading and supporting the care team, including rota planning and clear task allocation Providing management cover and maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment Overseeing care planning, medication management and quality assurance processes Supervising, appraising and supporting staff with their training and development Promoting the wellbeing of service users through kind, respectful and person-centred care

About You

You are a confident and compassionate leader who supports others with empathy and integrity. You bring clarity, calm and commitment to your role and lead by example. You have a Christian faith and are comfortable working within and upholding the CrossReach ethos.


You will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and be willing to complete PDA Supervision, PDA Medication, SVQ Level 4 and the Workplace Assessor Award. You will also need basic computer skills, SSSC registration and PVG Scheme membership.

As we do our work in Christ's name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.


This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
