Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to oversee the delivery of high-quality care in our care home. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for senior care, ensuring that our residents receive the support they need to live fulfilling lives. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing care plans, supervising staff, and fostering a positive environment for both residents and team members.

Duties



Lead and manage a team of care staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to the needs of each resident. Supervise daily operations within the care home, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills in delivering excellent care. Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and adjust care plans accordingly. Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care. Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and any changes in their condition. Foster a supportive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.

Skills



Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members. Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide a diverse team of caregivers. Experience in supervising staff within a senior care setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining accurate records and documentation. A compassionate approach towards senior care, demonstrating empathy and understanding. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents in the care home setting. Experience: Experience working within a childcare setting, experience with traumatised children and those with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Level 3 Children, Young People & Families Practitioner /Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-13.47 per hour
