We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting elderly residents within a care home environment, ensuring their wellbeing, safety, and comfort. Duties
Provide personalised care to residents in accordance with individual care plans, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
Supervise and support junior care staff, fostering a positive team environment
Assist residents with daily activities such as mobility, personal hygiene, medication management, and meal preparation
Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
Develop and review care plans in collaboration with residents, their families, and healthcare teams
Maintain accurate records of care provided and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Organise activities that promote social engagement and mental stimulation for residents
Ensure the safety of residents by adhering to health and safety policies within the care home
Experience
Proven experience working within a senior care or care home setting
Supervising or leadership experience in a caregiving environment is highly desirable
Knowledge of developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Competence in using IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
Valid driving licence is advantageous for supporting residents' outings or appointments
