Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine desire to help others and will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients in various settings, including home care, assisted living, and hospice care. This role requires patience, empathy, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with caregiving.

Duties

Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences. Administer first aid as required and monitor clients' health conditions. Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life. Support clients with dementia care by implementing strategies that promote cognitive engagement. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document daily care activities and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with case management teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

Experience

Previous experience in patient care or a similar caregiving role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with hospice care practices and assisted living environments is advantageous. Knowledge of first aid procedures and basic medical terminology is beneficial. Experience in dementia care techniques will be highly regarded. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. A caring attitude combined with the physical stamina required for heavy lifting and active engagement in client activities.

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 33 per week
