We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated senior carer to join our team at Ivy Lodge in the heart of Haxby. In this vital role, you will contribute to enhancing the lives of our residents by providing personalized care and support, aligning with our commitment to their well-being.
Provide compassionate personal care and assistance to residents in daily activities.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.

Maintain accurate records of resident care plans and progress.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care strategies.
Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being.
Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
Proven experience as a caregiver or in a similar role within a nursing home or care setting.
Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and empathy towards elderly individuals.
Basic understanding of medical terminology is a plus.
