Senior Category Manager - Corporate & Capital Procurement

Location:

Unit 1, 129 Coldharbour Lane, London, SE5 9NY

Salary:

64,200 - 71,300 plus up to 12% annual bonus



We are looking for an experienced Senior Category Manager to join our Procurement team at KFM. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-value procurement projects and drive efficiency in healthcare supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement category strategies to optimise value and innovation. Manage end-to-end procurement processes within the assigned categories. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers. Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier performance. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

CIPS qualification or equivalent is essential. Certification in the UK's Procurement Act 2023 and its implications for public sector tendering is essential. Proven experience in a similar role within procurement and supply chain management. Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
