Duties

Helping to oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently delivered. Manage a section, including stock control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness. Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring a supportive environment that encourages professional growth. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor kitchen performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and quality.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team effectively. Strong background in food production, with an emphasis on culinary techniques and presentation. Excellent leadership abilities, capable of motivating and guiding team members towards success. In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable. Exceptional cooking skills with the ability to prepare diverse cuisines. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
