We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and presentation.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to the head chef.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
Previous kitchen experience is essential; culinary experience is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Experience in meal preparation and serving within a restaurant setting is advantageous.
