, you are responsible for leading preparation and presentation of all dishes in your allocated working area to ensure the guests receive efficient and high-quality service. We want a

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Be confident in running your own section in a fast-paced kitchen and the entire kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
Support with food ordering and maintaining food cost within the parameters set by the Head Chef.
Have great knowledge of the preparation and service of all dishes on the hotel menus.
Follow portion control guidelines as directed by your Head Chef.
Record temperature checks on food and in storage areas, as directed, to ensure statutory requirements are met.
Ensure food materials are stored correctly and rotated to meet company and legal requirements.
Assist with the training of and supervision of junior members of the kitchen
Keep food wastage to a minimum.
Maintain high standards of working practices in terms of personal appearance and working methods.
Be keen to develop into our next Junior Sous Chef.
