We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and production, ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, collaborating with fellow kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Supervise kitchen staff during food preparation and cooking processes. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in the management of inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow during service hours. Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any issues promptly. Help create new menu items or specials based on seasonal ingredients or customer feedback. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent team management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork. A passion for cooking and a desire to continually improve culinary skills.
