We have an enthusiastic and established therapy team, and we are looking for a child and adolescent psychotherapist who is knowledgeable and passionate about young people's mental health and wellbeing to join us in the delivery of high quality and effective CAMHS interventions.
This is an exciting time to be joining our large therapies team as we are embarking on service wide initiatives to meet the mental health needs of our diverse population of children and young people. We are looking to embed the principles of the iThrive model and would love to have a dynamic psychotherapist on board to help ensure psychodynamic and psychotherapeutic approaches are accessible to our families - ensuring real choice and diversity of therapeutic approaches to match the diversity of the population.
You would be part of a professional network of child and adolescent psychotherapists and be encouraged to attend the regular twice monthly Child Psychotherapy meetings across London and Essex CAMHS services within NELFT. The successful postholder will have to be a full member of the Association of Child Psychotherapists to fulfil their supervisory duties.
We would be happy to consider any flexible working requests (e.g. working from home, compressed hours, reduced hours etc).
The post holder will be an effective team member, using their own initiative, supporting their peers and team lead. They will have a commitment to actively support, liaise with other professionals & agencies as we embed a trauma- and culturally-informed model of practice within the service. They will receive regular clinical supervision from the lead psychologist and will be expected to attend and participate in MDT team meetings. This role is suited to a candidate who is keen on service development, as well as managing a clinical caseload.
