As a Senior/Team Leader, you will play a vital role in assisting the Manager/Deputy in leading and managing our Children's Home. Your dedication and commitment will be instrumental in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for our Children.
Duties
To assist the Manager in providing a high quality service for children and young people requiring care.
To lead by example and maintain good professional practices.
To take responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of our children and young people, whilst on duty.
To ensure all children have a plan, a risk assessment, behaviour management plan and any other child's plan and that work is completed with them as instructed by their plans.
To lead shift plans and weekly plans, guiding and supporting staff on duty to implement the plan and when incidents occur.
Skills
Minimum one-year at a senior level within a children's home setting
Experience of managing staff team
Experience of working with children with challenging behaviours
Have completed NVQ Level 4 in Residential Childcare or equivalentStrong leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and staff members.
Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, professionals, and colleagues.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is highly desirable.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a calm demeanour in a busy environment.
A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development through play-based learning experiences.
