Hours:
Full time, up to 40 hours per week (+ sleeps required)
Shift pattern:
7:30-21:30, 2 on 3 off (flexibility required)

The home is a brand new, 5-bedded property in Sutton Coldfield, B75. It has a dual EBD and LD registration and has been designed and decorated for purpose. The Registered Manager has a plethora of experience and is a specialist in operating children's homes to 'good' and 'outstanding' standards. They are committed to sharing their knowledge and experience with their team, and thus, you can expect many opportunities to grow and learn.
Our Package and Benefits:
? Basic pay: 14.80 - 15.80 per hour
, depending on experience and qualifications, plus
50 per sleep-in

The Role:
As a
Senior Children's Residential Support Worker
, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding care while ensuring the smooth operation of the home. Your key responsibilities will include:
? Leadership & Mentorship:
Supervise and support a team of support workers, conduct appraisals, supervisions, and ensure high-quality care delivery.
? Care Planning:
Develop and review personalized care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans to meet the needs and goals of each child.
? Safeguarding & Compliance:
Maintain strict adherence to safeguarding policies and ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards.
? Supporting Young People:
Act as a key worker, promoting life skills, independence, and personal development. Plan and participate in engaging activities and educational programs.
? Health & Safety:
Conduct regular checks, oversee medication administration, and ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for residents.
? Communication:
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals while maintaining detailed and accurate records.
Key Requirements:
? Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
? Experience working with young people in a residential care setting.
? Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
? A full UK driving license (preferred but not essential).
? Commitment to the safety, well-being, and development of children.
