The Role



As a Senior Civil Engineer, you'll lead the design and delivery of multiple projects from concept through to completion. You'll be responsible for coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure technical excellence and efficient project execution.

You'll also have the opportunity to guide and mentor junior engineers, helping to develop their technical and professional skills while continuing to grow your own leadership and commercial capabilities.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance and technical oversight. Oversee multiple projects to ensure quality, budget, and programme objectives are achieved. Develop and support junior engineers through mentoring, training, and knowledge sharing. Manage project resourcing and delivery planning in line with company standards. Contribute to client engagement and business development opportunities. Maintain strong commercial awareness, tracking project profitability and performance. Support bids and proposals for new work as required.

Key Skills & Experience



Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (Chartered or working toward Chartership with ICE, IStructE, CIWEM, or CIHT preferred). Proven track record delivering civil engineering projects across multiple sectors. Strong understanding of planning, procurement, and technical approval processes. Proficient in MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD. Excellent communication, coordination, and report-writing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with sound commercial awareness. Collaborative, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
