The offices in Manchester (Salford Quays) are currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
The team of civil and structural engineers are nationally recognised for delivering sustainable and integrated design. The ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines has seen the company develop truly inspiring solutions that are sympathetic to their surroundings and which minimise environmental impact.
Working on a variety of medium size projects, the successful candidate will Design and specify all aspects of Civil works, contribute to the mentoring of our junior engineers, technicians and early careers population and on occasion, manage our Civils involvement in small to medium-size projects, including time, cost, quality and client relationship management and delivery.
You will be responsible for producing design deliverables (including drawings, specifications and reports), site surveys, construction stage duties, client liaison with members of design/construction teams, project management, costing and ensure progress against the project brief.
You will also contribute to the preparation of enquiry plans, tender reviews, fee estimate sheets, scopes of work and change controls as required.
About You
\xc2\xb7Chartered CEng MICE or working towards chartership
\xc2\xb7You will have strong technical capability in surface and foul drainage designs and strategies (ideally with Microdrainage experience), ground modelling and pavement setting out and design, and experience of coordinating below ground drainage services
\xc2\xb7You will have experience working in a multi-disciplinary team where you are able to take initiative and work independently
\xc2\xb7Need to have good working knowledge of industry best practice for civil engineering designs.

Experienced in high hazardous and safety critical industries including Nuclear, Defence, Rail and Life Sciences, the teams provide the full range of multi-disciplinary services including process engineering, mechanical and electrical (HV/LV), EC&I, architecture, building services, civil and structural, supported by programme management and a CDM consultancy.
The expertise also includes BIM, Digital and Asset Management, embracing the latest in digital techniques to provide clients with the most efficient and cost-effective design and solutions.
