About the role

Applications are invited for a Senior Clinical Project Manager to join the Molecular and Cellular Immunology (MCI) Section at UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (UCL GOS ICH). The appointment will be for 12-months initially and may be extended We wish to employ a translational Senior Clinical Project Manager with experience of managing first in human trials and other translational projects & collaborations. It will provide an opportunity to work with cutting edge clinical researchers and interact across inter-disciplinary groups. The gene and cell therapy group are involved in a portfolio of trials involving childhood diseases. You will work with a translational research team with particular responsibility for CAR T cell clinical trials and development of the next generation gene editing. This will include set-up and management of early phase clinical trials for cellular immunotherapies (CAR T trials) and inherited bone marrow conditions. The role will involve writing/reviewing essential documents, preparing & submitting approvals/amendments to MHRA, ethics committees and R&D offices. You will also be responsible for writing progress and safety reports, and wider clinical outputs. You will ensure trials are conducted in line with t protocols, GCP and relevant legislation. Translational studies and laboratory development work will be supported through operational oversight including management of compliance and quality aspects.


About you

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in science and previous extensive experience in clinical trials management, including preparation and submission of MHRA/ethics applications and amendments. Expertise in Gene and cell therapy, molecular biology or immunology, is desirable but not essential but the candidate must have experience of working in ATIMPS (or CTIMPS where appropriate)
