Are you ready to take the commercial lead on some of the UK's most exciting infrastructure contracts? At EDF, we're looking for several Senior Commercial Managers to help shape the future of low-carbon energy by driving commercial success at Hinkley Point C.

The Opportunity




The Senior Commercial Manager is commercially responsible, on each contract assigned to them, for: supporting the Procurement Process during contract creation (pre-award) to enable successful award and, commercially leading and managing the contract/s to successful completion during the execution phase to maximise operational and financial performance and minimise commercial risk in order to help support the safe and cost-effective delivery of NNB programme and business objectives.


In this role, you'll be at the heart of one of the UK's most ambitious energy projects. You'll lead the commercial delivery of key contracts, from procurement through to close-out, ensuring value, compliance, and performance. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll play a vital role in delivering a safe, efficient, and cost-effective nuclear programme.

What You'll Be Doing




You'll lead the commercial lifecycle of contracts, from defining requirements and evaluating tenders to negotiating terms and ensuring successful execution. Your expertise will ensure contracts are robust, compliant, and aligned with project goals.


Once contracts are live, you'll manage supplier relationships, oversee payments, handle variations and claims, and ensure commercial risks are identified and mitigated early. You'll also lead commercial reviews, monitor progress, and ensure accurate reporting.


As the key commercial contact, you'll work closely with project teams, legal, finance, and procurement to ensure contracts are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. Your work will directly impact the success of the HPC project and the UK's energy future.

Who You Are




You bring strong commercial and contract management experience, ideally within large-scale infrastructure or energy projects. You're confident navigating complex contracts and making sound decisions that deliver value and reduce risk.


You're a skilled communicator and negotiator, able to build trusted relationships with suppliers and internal teams alike. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities make you a reliable and proactive team player.


Familiarity with industry-standard contract forms and a solid understanding of performance measurement, risk, and change management will set you up for success. If you're ready to lead with purpose and make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.


Additionally, you must meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which generally requires you to have been a UK resident for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
