Salary:
45,000 - 50,000 depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
Leading commercial activities related to contract changes, including managing the Request for Bid Approval process, developing proposals, and negotiating change outcomes
Resolving customer queries and issues independently, escalating when necessary, and fostering strong working-level relationships
Implementing procedures and controls to ensure contract compliance, with a focus on margin improvement and establishing robust reporting frameworks
Delivering commercial and contractual support to the Type 26 project, ensuring obligations are tracked and managed accurately
Supporting complex contractual negotiations, coordinating across stakeholders to reach satisfactory resolutions
Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for operational enhancements within commercial practices
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Ability to lead key contract activities from end to end and influence internal/external stakeholders
Experience leading contract interpretation and providing guidance across commercial and technical teams
Proficient in managing contractual change and communicating commercial issues with clarity
Skilled in stakeholder engagement and negotiation to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes
Desirable:
In-depth knowledge of defence contracting terms, commercial agreements, and pricing models
