Imperium Commodity Search is working with a global commodity futures brokerage looking to grow their London team through the expansion of their execution desk. Our client is looking to speak to (FCM) brokers who have an execution book in any commodity class.

Responsibilities:
Offer listed (exchange traded)/cleared OTC execution services to corporate and institutional clients across the commodities space (energy, agriculture, grain, coffee, sugar, cocoa, cotton, LME etc)
Onboard new clients and extend existing relationships, offering voice and electronic execution services in a time-responsive manner
Upsell market insight and risk management strategy to corporate clients, commercial hedgers, funds and institutional clients across your specialist commodity segment (energy, agriculture, grain, coffee, sugar, cocoa, cotton or LME etc)
Offer clearing services where appropriate in line with the companies risk appetite and frameworks
Provide full service risk management and execution services to clients of the firm
Work with international offices to expand remit across specific clients globally
Experience:
3-5+ years experience in futures execution with an FCM or IDB
Transferable book of business circa 300kGBP plus revenue on a commodity class (energy, agriculture, grain, coffee, sugar, cocoa, cotton, LME etc)
Strong knowledge of risk management principles and the ability to offer a full-service solution to corporate hedgers
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at senior management level
Close-knit client relationships with a specific execution book on a niche commodity area/class
Strong understanding of the UK/European futures/options markets
Listed experience
