The Senior Community Engagement Manager will lead the strategic development, coordination and delivery of Foundation 92s Community Engagement strand.
They will oversee the programme design, delivery and impact across multiple sites, ensuring all work aligns with Foundation 92's mission and values.
The post holder will manage and support a diverse team of outreach, youth and community staff, build strong stakeholder partnerships and ensure effective monitoring and reporting against KPIs, contracts and funding outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation and quality assurance of all community engagement and youth programmes, ensuring each programme meets the strategic priorities of Foundation 92 and individual funder/partner requirements.
Support the Foundation 92 Community Programmes Manager to meet programme goals and targets.
Work collaboratively with the wider Foundation 92 team to ensure joined-up delivery and consistent quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement through evaluation, impact measurement and staff development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, local authorities, schools, housing providers, community organisations and funders.
Represent Foundation 92 at partnership meetings, networks and community events.
Identify and develop new partnership opportunities in line with the charities strategy to enhance Foundation 92's reach and sustainability.
Collaborate with the Media & Communications Team to promote success, impact and community stories.
Develop, monitor and complete reports on project KPIs and outcomes, ensuring compliance with funder agreements and organisational goals.
Take responsibility and oversight of all department data collection and impact reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency across teams.
Produce high quality accurate performance reports and impact summaries for funders and senior management.
Line manage Foundation 92 Community Engagement Manager and support the management of the wider Community Engagement staff.
Promote a positive, collaborative culture across the team, ensuring staff are motivated, supported and high-performing.
Lead regular supervision and performance reviews in line with organisational expectations
Champion safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion within all aspects of work.
Support the development of funding bids, tenders, and partnership proposals to sustain and expand community engagement programmes.
Ensure all funded work meets contractual and reporting obligations.
Person Specification
Significant experience in managing community engagement programmes.
Proven experience in partnership building and stakeholder management.
Strong understanding of the challenges facing young people and communities.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Strong project management, organisational and data inputting skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience of working to and reporting against KPIs and funding outcomes.
Commitment to safeguarding and equality, diversity and inclusion.
Experience of working within a sport, education or social impact charity.
Track record in securing funding or managing funded projects.
