Overview
The Broomhouse Pantry is located within the Community One Stop Shop in Broomhouse. We are a community based project that offers several services including Advice, Employability, Food Bank, Community Pantry, Baby Bank and Soup Kitchen, We are seeking a hands-on Senior Community Worker to oversee the Pantry and other operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Co-ordinating food supplies and maintain food safety standards
Engaging with local communities and pantry users to foster inclusion
Recruiting and supporting volunteers
Tracking usage, impact and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborating with supply chains and community partners
Providing Duty Management cover
Arranging and Managing Events
You should have:
Project delivery experience including report writing
Ability to lead teams and manage volunteers
Experience in dealing with vulnerable clients and diverse groups
Experience in the charity sector
Relevant IT experience including Microsoft Office products and Teams
