Job Description

The Senior Compliance Governance & Frameworks Manager will lead the development and continuous improvement of the governance, policy, and oversight frameworks that underpin effective compliance management across the business.

This role will ensure strong, practical structures are in place to manage compliance activities, support effective decision-making, and evidence good governance to regulators and senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will combine strong organisational and governance expertise with a pragmatic, hands-on approach - driving accountability, ensuring actions are delivered, and helping the compliance team "get things done."

What you'll be doing



Design, enhance, and embed effective compliance governance frameworks across the business to ensure consistent oversight and accountability Lead the transition of governance and workflow processes into Jira (or similar tools) to improve transparency, tracking, and reporting Establish and maintain documentation standards and controls for compliance artefacts, including policies, frameworks, registers, and logs Oversee licensing governance, ensuring all obligations and related documentation are current, accurate, and well controlled Manage compliance and regulatory committees, including agenda preparation, paper collation, minute-taking, and action tracking Develop high-quality Board and Executive reporting, producing clear, insightful, and visually polished slide packs tailored for senior audiences Conduct horizon scanning and industry analysis to identify regulatory developments, assess alignment, and support proactive compliance enhancements Oversee compliance risks and incidents, ensuring timely logging, assessment, escalation, and lessons learned to strengthen future controls

Who we are looking for


Extensive experience in compliance governance, frameworks, and policy management within regulated environments, with working knowledge of compliance risk management and incident tracking processes Proven ability to manage committees and governance forums, producing high-quality minutes, actions, and reports, and creating executive-level materials that clearly distil complex issues Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills, able to coordinate across teams, drive accountability, and influence delivery in fast-paced environments Highly structured and detail-oriented, confident using digital tools such as Jira, SharePoint, and Confluence, with an understanding of UK regulatory expectations in consumer-facing sectors including gambling and financial services
