About the Role

Wealthtime is part of Quanta group, one of UK's leading wealth management groups, bringing together Wealthtime Ltd, Copia Capital Management, and Craven Street Wealth.
As a Senior Compliance Monitoring Associate you will assist in monitoring and assessing the compliance of the Quanta Group with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Working closely with the wider compliance team to ensure that the Quanta Group operates within the boundaries set by regulatory authorities and maintains a strong compliance culture.
The role holder will support the Compliance team to maintain a sound and robust compliance framework appropriate to the Quanta Group.
We are seeking two Senior Compliance Monitoring Associates to help us deliver the Compliance Monitoring Plan which covers all activities within the Quanta Group, including Platform, DFM and Financial Advice. We are looking for two individuals with relevant Compliance Monitoring experience in either the platform or financial advice industry, or even both.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular and ad-hoc compliance monitoring reviews to evaluate Quanta Group's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Identify and assess compliance risks, including regulatory, operational, and reputational risks, and develop appropriate monitoring plans to address these risks.
Collaborate with business units and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Review and analyse regulatory changes and industry developments to assess their impact on Quanta Group's monitoring program.
Prepare comprehensive compliance monitoring reports, highlighting findings, recommendations, and areas for improvement, and present them to senior management and relevant committees.
Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and recommendations resulting from compliance monitoring reviews and regulatory inspections.
Stay updated on emerging trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in compliance monitoring within the financial services industry.
Create and comment on compliance assurance MI that feed into the Compliance Officer's Board Reports
Foster a culture of compliance and ethics throughout the organisation by promoting awareness and understanding of compliance obligations.

Specialist Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
For the platform focused role we are seeking experience in a compliance monitoring role within the advisor platform sector. For the advice focused role we are seeking experience with monitoring adviser activity, including file reviews
In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices, such as AML, KYC, MiFID, GDPR, and other applicable regulations.
Strong understanding of financial products, services, and operations within the financial services industry.
Proven experience completing risk-based compliance monitoring programs.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and assess compliance risks and develop appropriate monitoring plans.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Detail-oriented with the ability to conduct thorough reviews and produce accurate and comprehensive reports.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information
Self-motivator with a proactive attitude
Strong IT skills (Particularly Excel, SharePoint and other MS office applications)
Desirable:
Relevant business qualification e.g., Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager or CISI Compliance Diploma)
