We are a forward-thinking and supportive law firm looking for a motivated and detail-driven

Senior Compliance & Office Manager

to play a key role in our future growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with office management and compliance experience who is ready to step up and take on more responsibility in a dynamic and growing practice.

About the Role


Working closely with our Directors, Partners, COLP and COFA, you will help ensure that the firm meets its compliance and financial obligations while also driving improvements in the way we work. This is a hands-on role where you'll combine regulatory oversight with day-to-day operational management.

Key Responsibilities:



Support the COLP/COFA in ensuring the firm complies with

SRA Accounts Rules

and other regulatory requirements. Oversee billing, credit control and debt management, helping to improve cashflow and reduce aged debt. Assist with budgets, financial reporting, and working with partners on business performance. Maintain and improve systems for compliance including

AML, GDPR, file reviews, and risk management

. Coordinate training and keep accurate compliance records for staff. Liaise with CEO to assist with auditors, insurers, and other external stakeholders. Lead on improving office systems, procedures, and efficiency across the firm. Provide guidance and support to administrative staff.

What We're Looking For:



Previous office management experience, ideally in a law firm or other regulated professional services environment. A good understanding of compliance and financial processes - knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Confidence working with figures, budgets, and reports. Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a willingness to learn and grow. Excellent IT and communication skills.
