We are seeking a Construction Supervisor to join our Building team based on a major building project in Central London.
The successful candidate will assist with developing, maintain and updating the project programme to produce an accurate programme. This role will work closely with both site teams, suppliers and designers to monitor progress and outputs.
What you'll do:

  • Assist with progress monitoring and the recording of as-built data to maintain and update the project programme, help prepare programme submission documents and internal reporting.
  • Work with the project team , designers and suppliers to produce, challenge and maintain collaborative short-term programmes that align with the main programme.
  • Ensure that lookahead / supplier programmes are accurate and comply with pre-construction planning.
  • Lead collaborative planning and short-term programme sessions with various on-site trade contractors, and design teams.
  • Support the Senior Planner and Skanska Project Team with the development of Production Control as a core process on the project - taking learning from previous projects and building on that
What you'll bring to the role:
  • Experience of working on 200M+ commercial office projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques and best practices.
  • Some experience of developing short term programmes for a section of works, and production control.
  • Understanding of the time impact of typical construction risks and opportunities.
  • Understanding of the construction market, methods of construction, plant, equipment and labour requirements.
  • Degree/HND/HNC in Construction / Engineering (preferred).
