Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Consultancy Sales Manager to spearhead our business development efforts. This role is pivotal in driving high-value client acquisitions, managing key accounts, and leading a small team of sales representatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within e-commerce or consultancy, and possess the leadership skills to guide the team towards exceeding revenue targets. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and secure high-value business opportunities with FMCG brands and other key clients.
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 2-3 sales representatives, setting clear objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers, understanding their strategic goals and aligning our services to meet them.
Oversee the creation of compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches in collaboration with the account management and marketing teams.
Drive the full sales cycle for high-value accounts, from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure, ensuring a seamless client experience.
Achieve and exceed ambitious sales targets while maintaining exceptional standards of client satisfaction.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and Amazon's evolving ecosystem to position Unified Retail as a market leader.
Collaborate with senior leadership to refine sales processes, implement new tools, and optimise team performance.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market insights to the leadership team.
Represent Unified Retail at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role, preferably in consultancy, e-commerce, or professional services.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving significant revenue growth.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing or coaching a sales team.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives and diverse stakeholders.
Advanced problem-solving skills and a strategic, client-centric mindset.
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.
Preferences (not essential)
Extensive experience with Amazon Seller Central or Amazon Vendor Central.
Deep understanding of Amazon PPC advertising and e-commerce strategies.
Prior experience in a strategic account management or business development role.
Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram) for lead generation.
