We specialise in digital transformation for all healthcare environments and the development of innovative Digital plans for new hospital/healthcare facility build projects. These projects are truly an opportunity be a part of positive change, which maximise emerging technologies, and that will ultimately benefit peoples' lives.


The role is all about collaboration, whether with client clinical and operational teams, patients, partner organisations and a range of specialist teams across WSP. Every project is unique and will offer its own particular challenges.

You will be part of a team that undertakes project-based work for a range of healthcare clients where achieving significant change is the expectation. Further, our clients will look to us to coach, mentor and educate stakeholders in what is possible and how we get them there. At its core, we follow a 3-step process - understand the current state, define a future state, and plan the Digital interventions required to achieve that future state. Where we can, we will both plan the Digital transformation activities and then delivery them.


As a Senior Consultant, you will have the opportunity to form lasting relationships with our customers and embed yourself within client organisations as a trusted collaborator and advisor. The projects you work on will be complex and often take a multidisciplinary approach. You will be able to identify business development opportunities, both through contract extensions and new business. You will have the opportunity to be involved in thought leadership and to support the promotion of the team's capabilities within the industry. Your ideas will always be valued and you will be supported in identifying ways of better serving our customers and extending our capabilities.


What we will be looking for you to demonstrate...



An appropriate academic qualification that can be utilised in this role. Whether in Digital, healthcare, the built environment or relevant discipline. Demonstrable experience in a Healthcare, Digital or Built environment setting, and/or with project delivery of a Digital or transformation nature. An analytical problem-solving approach, a familiarity with the technology deployment lifecycle, and with data visualisation skills being desirable. Experience of project delivery including extensive stakeholder engagement, production of strong strategic outputs and delivery of technology implementations. A consulting mindset that can build trust and credibility, the discipline to follow robust project management processes ensuring a high-quality outcome, and a curious nature that ultimately supports the delivery of outcomes that exceed customer expectations, and which sets WSP apart from its competitors. A self-confident, enthusiastic, energetic outlook and motivation to learn. An inquisitive and enquiring nature that can face a problem from different angles and to think differently. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. An ability for forge collaborative relationships, earn trust and demonstrate empathy.
