Role Overview
We are recruiting a Senior Consultant to join our fast growing and ambitious team. You will form part of a high calibre team responsible for delivering an extensive range of corporate secretarial and governance services for the UK entities of our Global clients, providing high quality advice and work with others in the team to deliver an excellent client experience and ensure clients remain up to date with their statutory obligations.

Job Role & Responsibilities
Conduct thorough reviews of company secretarial work, including board minutes
and resolutions, shareholder resolutions and statutory filings, ensuring accuracy,
completeness and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
+ Monitor adherence to internal processes, standards and best practices, identifying
any gaps or inconsistencies.
+ Ensure that all statutory filings comply with the Companies Act and other relevant
laws and regulations.
+ Develop and follow personal development plan to assist with the increase of
services able to provide and progression through the UK CSS career path.
+ Provide feedback on work produced and answer queries by more junior members
of the team to ensure that quality service delivery to clients is maintained across UK
CSS.
+ Maintain oversight of electronic corporate records using Diligent Entities to ensure
data integrity and regulatory compliance and undertake any statutory filings with
the Registrar of Companies.
+ Work closely with team members to provide feedback on their work, identifying
opportunities for improvement and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
+ Support the development of standardised templates, guidance notes and best
practice frameworks to enhance efficiency and accuracy in corporate secretarial
processes.
+ Contribute to the development and refinement of internal procedures, ensuring
they align with evolving legal and regulatory requirements.
+ Provide coaching and training to team members on quality standards, governance
requirements and best practices in company secretarial work.
+ Provide advice on corporate governance best practice and reviewing relevant
documentation.
+ Support professional development by sharing insights and feedback to enhance
technical knowledge and skill levels within the team.
+ Conduct periodic reviews and refresher sessions to reinforce key compliance and
quality expectations. Identifying opportunities to introduce new business, developing additional sales
from existing clients and crossing services across LawDebenture.
+ Provide support as required in developing processes and procedures within the UK
CSS team.
+ Support the development of quality assurance reporting metrics to track
performance and areas for improvement.
+ Ensure you remain up to date with relevant legal and regulatory requirements,
horizon scan for upcoming changes and help in identifying new areas of business.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
CGI part or fully qualified (or other professional qualification if relevant experience
can be demonstrated)
