CSDB Joinery is the production arm of CSDB Ltd, part of the CDI World global network, specialising in precision joinery, CNC machining and bespoke fabrication for trade partners in the exhibition, interiors, and retail sectors.
Operating from our fully equipped workshop in Redditch, we deliver high-quality joinery, display units and custom furniture for agencies, contractors, and other manufacturing partners. We're expanding our trade fabrication division and are looking for a proactive, technically minded sales professional to help us grow.
The Opportunity
We're seeking a
Senior Contracts Manager
who can open doors, build relationships, and win new manufacturing and subcontract contracts.
You'll represent our workshop's capabilities to other joinery firms, design agencies, shopfitters, and exhibition contractors, promoting us as a trusted trade production partner rather than a competitor.
This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role where credibility and industry knowledge matter as much as sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and approach potential trade clients including joinery firms, interior fit-out contractors, exhibition builders, retail display specialists, and design agencies.
Build and maintain long-term relationships, positioning CSDB as a reliable, discreet manufacturing partner.
Develop a sales pipeline through proactive outreach, site visits, and industry networking.
Collaborate with our estimating and production teams to prepare accurate quotations and proposals.
Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure client requirements are fully understood before costing.
Manage incoming enquiries, oversee project handover to production, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain CRM records, track conversions, and report monthly on pipeline and activity.
About You: Experience and Skills
Essential
Proven B2B sales experience within
joinery, shopfitting, interiors, or exhibition build
.
Understanding of materials, production processes, and workshop terminology.
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with a confident, credible manner.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify profitable opportunities.
Comfortable reading technical drawings and discussing specifications.
Self-motivated with good time management and organisational skills.
UK driving licence and willingness to travel for client visits.
Desirable
Hands-on experience in joinery, estimating, or site management before moving into sales.
Existing contacts in trade interiors, exhibition or retail fabrication sectors.
Familiarity with CNC processes and production scheduling.
